We pulled the bikes down from the ceiling hooks today. Almost all of the snow is gone but the trails are still somewhat damp.
Ben has been asking for a couple of weeks to go on a bike ride. So late afternoon today drove over to the Glacial Lakes State Trail. In the shady spots there was still some snow/ice that are in the last couple of days melting. We drove to a mostly clear section and rode our bikes between Spicer and New London and back. That was a short ride of about 8 miles round trip. My bike needs a minor tweak but Ben's bike was having some issues shifting. --Time for some spring tune-up work.
About once I week I try to upload & download Logbook of the World (LOTW) changes between my local log in CQRLOG and the ARRL. It is very simple from CQRLOG and take about 60 seconds each direction. Sometimes I have more hits than others. Last week had quite a bit of DX and this week had local contacts within North America.
I also was curious what the DXCC chase looked like so I popped up the stats within CQRLOG.

I made my daily QSO over my lunch break. Once that was complete I fired up WSPR and set the radio to 20m and let the computer decode and upload data.
Looking at the map you see plenty of US stations, but also a nice section of Europe and into the Pacific region as well. It is amazing to see what paths are really open that we sometimes overlook.
